Downstairs

This will be just a quick one to get back in the groove... Can't believe I haven't written since Miles' birthday. I decided to start writing again when we were coming down the steps this morning and I realized he's changing and growing up so quickly. He's 14 months old already! We are teaching him to go down the steps by himself to make it easier on my arms since I have tendonitis and am pregnant. Hopefully he'll be able to do it by the time the baby is here in May. We are practicing by sitting on the top step with him, then sliding down on our butt to the next step. I hold his hand, not sure whether Jason does or not. You have to watch out because he'll stand up or lunge forward suddenly. He's getting much better though and doesn't ask to be carried downstairs anymore. Downside is that the seat of my sweat pants are getting worn from all the friction.
